Digital Art

with visual art, i usually stick to digital-- i use autodesk sketchbook and a wacom intuos, which currently has a problem of disconnecting. its most likely an issue with the wire that connects to the touchpad but its so ANNOYING !!!!!! >:(

you might notice how most of these are with acrylic paints and canvases... yes, because most of the photos i have of my analog art are doodles like this:

and the other art i have made that is portfolio worthy... is no longer with us as they were a school projects and the photos i took have been deleted. :(
(p.s.... i drew the drawing of me beating up a minion at my job at the cinema when the Minions 2 was in theatres. i dont really hate the minions that much, actually. children just leave a lot of popcorn on the floor.)

Papercutting

a new art i have taken in, the art of papercutting! not the traditional kind of cutting where a design is cut into the paper, but cutting up different kinds and colors of paper to create an image. i don't exactly know what to call this kind of art, so i'll just call it papercutting for now.
since i am so new to it, here are the two papercut art pieces i have done, sorted by most recent!

the last one, look familiar? as far as first attempts in a new medium go, papercutting came easy to me and while i don't exactly love the end results, it was really fun to put together! it was also a good project for a first attempt because it told me how difficult it would be to keep together small paper pieces together and how sticky the whole ordeal would become with all the elmers glue and modge podge i would need to seal it together. hopefully in the future i will make more original works specifically designed for papercutting!! :)
